About Walnut Creek
The namesake of our RV Resort at Walnut Creek is a crick. A creek, or crick as we call it in Texas, is a small stream that feeds into a larger stream or river. “Now, isn’t everything supposed to be bigger in Texas?” you say. Hold up now and we’ll explain…
Walnut Creek spans roughly 25.5 miles and three counties: Grimes County, Montgomery County, and our own Waller County. A perennial, freshwater stream, Walnut Creek serves as a tributary to Spring Creek and its watershed drains roughly 48,947 acres. (In case you’re wondering, our wettest month is May, but October has given it a run for its money lately. More weather facts about Waller County can be found here: https://www.co.waller.tx.us/page/Geographical.)

Does the RV Resort at Walnut Creek overlook Walnut Creek?
Most of the year, Walnut Creek ain’t even knee-high to a grasshopper, but that doesn’t mean that our resort doesn’t have relaxing water views. The RV Resort at Walnut Creek has three ponds (Walnut Pond, Cedars Pond, and Summertree Pond) for recreation and relaxation. They are inviting places for both guests and local wildlife to come hang out, too!

Walnut Pond
Our RV resort offers waterfront cooking opportunities to guests who have obtained the Horned Lizard Cookshack Master Chef Apron. All guests are welcome to enjoy the opportunity to enjoy meals al fresco at the tables overlooking Walnut Pond.

Cedars Pond
A miniature matching cabin is ready to welcome feathered guests on Cedars Pond. Cedars Loft Cabin, surrounded by towering conifers, overlooks Cedar Pond. This pond offers catch-and-release fishing to guests.

Summertree Pond
Guests at Summertree Cabin can relax in the Adirondack chairs overlooking Summertree Pond and watch the waterfowl paddling across the tree-lined pond. This pond offers guests catch-and-release fishing.
